Ekiti State PDP In Disarray*** Details Of How Fayose Cornered 1 Billion Electioneering Fund

Published

on

‪There is fire on the mountain for Ekiti State’ Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Governorship candidate, Ayodele Fayose.‬

‪Information pieced together by www.theoctopusnews.com, has revealed that just days before the PDP grand rally planned to solicit support for Fayose, the state’ chapter of the party is in disarray.‬

‪A source in the camp of Fayose told us that the morale in the camp is so low and this has to do with their supposed number one man short changing them.‬

‪The source informed us that members of the party across the 177 wards are not happy with him because of a 1 billion naira electioneering fund Fayose got from Abuja and has turned to his personal money.‬

‪Their anger we heard was fuelled by their discovery that instead of him giving each ward the sum of 1 million naira, Fayose gave them a paltry 50, 000.00 naira. The party members are also miffed that immediately after the former Governor got the windfall, he went on spending spree, acquiring a posh property in Maitama area of Abuja, and another in Lagos.‬

‪www.theoctopusnews.com also heard that things went from bad to worse for Fayose when he asked each ward to contribute 1 million naira to his campaign purse. Fayose allegedly sent sms to the ward chairmen, instructing them to coordinate the fund raising.‬

‪The rude shock was so much for the wards chairmen that they cursed him for daring to insult them with such request.‬

‪This development, has seen Fayose’s ambitions nose diving seriously.‬

‪You may recall that last Wednesday the interim National Chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, gave the incumbent Governor of Ekiti State, John Kayode Fayemi, the green card for a second term.‬

‪All efforts to get Fayose’s reaction on the allegation proved abortive as at press time.
