As the race for who takes over from the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola hots up, it has been one war of words after the other.
However, for the supposedly endorsed former Accountant-General of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, it has been one controversy after the other.
The situation is so bad for Ambode that the man at present has cut the image of the most controversial gubernatorial aspirant that has ever appeared in the history of Lagos State politics.
Having just recovered from an attack on his person by some APC’s stakeholders who kicked against his endorsement by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and subsequently the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Ambode is currently battling a state of Origin scandal.
Ambode, who claimed in a video to be an indigene of Epe in Lagos, is currently battling to prove it with evidence proving that he is actually from Ondo state, about 200 kilometres away from Lagos.
A picture taken many years ago has revealed Ambode’s actual state of origin in what has been described as the beginning of the end of his governorship ambition in Lagos state.
Those who have reacted to Ambode’s lie about his identity, have insisted that he is not fit to be considered for the top job in Lagos, as he is most likely going to lie about the accounts of the state when he becomes the first citizen.
