One question that a lot of people are asking now is whether MI Abaga lied about his differences with the management of Club Quilox.

There had been speculations over what happened between the club and the rapper, following a tweet by MI that he was shutdown while performing Saturday, February 28.

However, Club Quilox, a statement sentto www.theoctopusnews.com, tried to clear the air on the issue, saying that the artiste was never disgraced.

According to the statement, MI had been contracted by Live&Unplugged,to perform at the club between 10pm and 12am, but the artiste refused to stop performing at the end of his allotted time despite his management having been notified of MI’s time belt.

The statement further said that, “It was after he had been told to end his performance and he refused at about 12:35am that the management was forced to take action with its disc jockey kicking off the next event of the night.

The Chocolate City artiste had sparked off the speculation about his being embarrassed at the club via Twitter. MI tweeted that, “Quilox as a business disrespected me and my brand tonight. In more reasonable settings whoever the manager was tonight should have been fired. But what do I know.”
