DMW boss, Davido has been receiving knocks for denying being a part of the EndSARS protest.
In recent times, the country has been overwhelmed with several protests, as Nigerians protest the injustice and extrajudicial killings of several innocent individuals by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Having publicised his meeting with the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Frank Mba, many had expected that Davido would take a stand at the Police Headquarters in Abuja, however, he sort of failed to do that when he denied being a part of the protest.
During his interaction with Mba, Davido told the FPRO that he did not want a closed-door meeting because people had the impression that he came for a closed-door meeting.
The PRO responded by asking how he could come for a closed-door meeting when he was out there protesting, the singer quickly cut in and said that he did not protest.
He however told the police that he identified with the protesters because they were his fans.
The singer’s position however seemed to irritate some protesters and his fans who fell that he was not man enough during his meeting with Mba.
