Davido has donated the proceeds from his recently released video, Dolce and Gabbana to the Dolce and Gabbana Foundation.
The proceeds from the new video which features Summer Walker will be directed towards funding COVID-19 research project.
Davido recently revealed this on social media, adding that his act of philanthropy was motivated by his personal experience with coronavirus after his fiancee contracted it.
“I was on tour; she was in London with my son. When we all came back to Nigeria, we were like, because we have travel history, I think it’s best we get tested. We had no symptoms. Nobody in the house had symptoms. Out of all 34 of us that got tested, she was the only one that came out positive, which was crazy to us, ” Davido wrote on social media explaining his decision.
