Prior to now, there have been questions about the true relationship between comedienne Princess and Baba Ijesha.
However, the truth has now been revealed, as the comedienne whose real name is Adekola Adekanya has revealed that she met Baba Ijesha in 2008.
According to her, the comedian whose real name is Olanrewaju Omiyinka wanted to have a relationship with her.
Recall that Baba Ijesha is currently facing charges on alleged sexual assault of a minor who happens to be Princess’s foster daughter.
At the beginning of Baba Ijesha’s trial at the Lagos State Special Offences Court in the Ikeja area today Monday, July 26, Princess told the court that she met Baba Ijesha in 2008 at an event and the two decided to start making comedy skits together.
She told the court that Baba Ijesha during the course of working together, tried to date her but she declined. She said after the crash of her marriage in 2013, she became close to Baba Ijesha, sponsoring his education and granting him favours.
The presiding judge, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, adjourned the case till July 27 after Princess’s legal team played primary video evidence against the embattled actor.
