There was a time when the name Buruji Kashamu resounded about town.
As a man of the people, he had so much influence. When he became a politician, it was not different.
His act of philanthropy was what paved the way to his emergence as a Senator, giving him the strength to take possession of the political dynasty of Ogun State.
But all of that is now history, in fact, old history, as having faded off the political radar, Kashamu has remained out of touch.
These days, Kashamu has become a shadow of his glory days with hardly any mention of his name among those that matter in the Ogun State political circle.
During a recent party, he surfaced in his outlandish style but quickly returned underground once again.
