Blackout Drama: Nigerians Drag Burna Boy’s Girlfriend, Stefflon Don

Jamaican-born British singer and Burna Boy’s girlfriend, Stefflon Don has become an object of mockery among some Nigerians.

This follows her complaints about the electricity blackout she has witnessed since arriving Nigeria.

The singer made her complaint public via an Insta-story video in which she appeared to be in darkness.

In the video, she was heard saying: ‘Nigerian power cut, every day the light goes off’.

Interesting, Nigerians who have seen the video have reacted with disdain with some asking her if Jamaica is better than Nigeria. Others even went as far as telling her not to visit the country again.

Another sect also urged her to endure the situation, as it is the reality of Nigeria.

Recall that Burna Boy and Stefflon Don have been dating for a while having met in Ghana. The duo became an item in 2019, and have kept it really strong with Burna Boy quoted calling Stefflon Don his wife and the later saying that she would love to have kids with him.

In an interview, Burna Boy, was quoted saying that his relationship with the singer is very serious and he would not want it in public domain.

His words: “Being with Stefflon Don is lovely. I don’t know how to explain it. I try to keep it within us.”

Rumors of a breakup have however trail them when Burna Boy reportedly returned to his old girlfriend, actress Princess Shyngel.

The rumors of a relationship between the duo was however put to rest by the Stefflon Don who took to Twitter to say the video that sparked off the supposed romance with the actress was old, as she was still going on with Burna Boy.

Since then, Burna Boy and Stefflon Don have been going strong with the lady visiting Burna Boy in Nigeria during his birthday party, and the African Giant reciprocating with gifts on her birthday last December.
