Yemi Alade
Singer, Yemi Alade joined Ghanaian artiste Fuse OGD real name Nana Richard Abiona to criticize organizers of BET Award.
Fuse OGD had earlier revealed that he won’t be attending the awards because the Best International Act Africa category would hold before the main event.
Alade had joined him stating that though African artistes are nominated for the award they get to receive their plaque in a separate event which holds hours before the main show.
According to her, such act amount to publicly trying to humiliate Africa.
She went on to say that if Africa is not worthy in the sight of the organizers, they should simply delete the category.
Interestingly, while Fuse OGD has maintained his stance, Yemi Alade has since deleted her criticism from social media leaving many saying she has chickened out in the fight to correct the anomaly.
