The past weeks have not been too palatable for the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu.
Asides parting ways with his Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, a situation which shook his political structure, Akeredolu has also struggled to maintain a cordial relationship with his party stakeholders.
With some of his party stakeholders saying that he will never emerge governor a second time, the first citizen of the state has had to sit at the edge of the chair.
His situation however looked up when he won the primary of his All Progressive Congress (APC) to contest the gubernatorial election.
While the bearded governor might not yet be where he wants to be, there is no denying the fact that his situation is better than before.
