Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been sworn in as the Governor of Ondo State.
This follows the death of the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
Akeredolu died today December 27 after battling Leukemia and Prostate cancer.
The swearing in was administered by the chief judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola at 5:18pm.
Aiyedatiwa, who previously served as acting governor is expected to address the people of Ondo State in the coming hours.
