In most cases, death brings with it tears, sorrow and pain.
However, there are cases of celebration and joy amidst death, especially when the deceased has had a fruitful and rewarding life.
The death of Mrs. Janet Olukoya, mother of Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide (MFM), is one of such cases.
Aged 95 years, Mama Olukoya, as the deceased was fondly called by her close associates was described as a fervent worshipper at the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries International Headquarters, Onike-Yaba, Lagos, where she was a prayer warrior and a member of the Elders Group.
Though the family is yet to announce plans for her burial, hers would be a celebration of life when she is laid to rest.
It would be recalled that the son, D.K. Olukoya announced the death of his mother last Saturday, during the church’s monthly programme, ‘Power Must Change Hand’ at Prayer City, along Lagos Ibadan expressway.
“It is my pleasure to tell the church that my mother has passed on to great beyond,” he said
