The sacking of former Department of State Security (DSS) boss, Lawal Daura, by Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, was a topical issue.
Following Daura’s sack, Mathew Seiyefa was appointed in acting capacity. Days back, President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appointment of Yusuf Magaji Bichi as the new Director General of the DSS.
Bichi is from Kano state and he officially takes over from Matthew Seiyefa, who was appointed by then Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, as Acting Director-General of DSS following the sacking of Lawal Daura by Osinbajo on August 7th.
