Kanekalon kicks out Stephanie Okereke

One of Nigeria’s leading actress, Stephanie Okereke is not in a jolly mood presently.

The reason, www.theoctopusnews.com, can reveal to you is due to the fact that she has just been kicked out as the brand ambassador of Kanekalon by the Chinese makers of the product.

The gist is that Okereke who rakes in between seven and eight million per year has not been able to represent the company as expected. Her relationship stylist and small scale saloons which she is suppose to promote by virtue of her contract is nothing to write home about, as members of the association said she is always aloof. Another reason is that she is expected to wear braids promoting the product of the company, but hardly does so.

Our source, revealed that she would have been sacked a long time ago, but for Rafiu Ladipo, an ex-staff of the agency who handles the brand account who always makes a case for her every time. However, trouble started for her when Ladipo moved to another organisation and in the last meeting held Okereke could not defend herself in the absence of Ladipo. We learnt that it was at that meet that the producers of Kanekalon decided she was just a waste of money, hence the decision to dump her.

Okereke, was made ambassador of Kanekalon in 2011.
