Encomium as Comrade Adewale Ayodele celebrates five years anniversary

Amiable and debonair Comrade Adewale Ayodele celebrated his fifth year anniversary as the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, on Wednesday, October 30.

The colourful and well attended event took place at the secretariat of the Local Government with notable politicians, top socialites and government persona in attendance.

Notably present at the event were the protem Chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), Lagos State Chief Henry Ajomale, Ademorin Kuye, Chief Folashade Ojo, Charles Odugbesi, Hon. Ademorin Kuye, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Rt. Hon. Abayomi Kiyomi and Hon. Sultan Adeniji- Adele.

Speaking at the well attended event, Ayodele gave account of his stewardship in the last five years, and also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to redefining grassroots governance.

Some of the high points of the event were the signing of a Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with the National Institute of Information (NIIT), to train 200 youths on Information Technology; donation of a Toyota Hiace 2013 Model to the Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Chief (Mrs.) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, presentation of cheques to victims of the Agboju fire inferno and the 1,500 desk and benches presented to schools.
