2023: Peter Obi Dumps PDP, Withdraws From Presidential Race

Emerging reports have it that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), presidential aspirant, Peter Obi has left the party.
Though it is uncertain what party the former Governor of Anambra State is heading to, his associates reveal he is likely to consult with some stakeholders before making his new party public.

In a letter written to his PDP Agulu ward II chairman, and dated Friday, May 20, Obi confirmed his official exit from the party.
In another letter to the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, Obi revealed his reasons for leaving the party and withdrawing from the 2023 presidential election.
