Felabration, the high-powered music festival put together by Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti and her siblings in memory of their father, legendary afrobeat creator, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, is holding virtually this year.
Themed ‘Fight To Finish, Fight To Win’, this edition is considered different owing to its virtual nature.
According to information released by the organisers, the music festival kicked off on September 1, with a dance competition that will run till September 30th.
Other events line-up for the show includes a art competition with the submission of works spanning between September 1 and 30th.
A Dress Like Fela Challenge is also part of the events for this year edition of the music festival, while typical programmes such as DJ performance and artistes performance are slated for Thursday, October 15 till Saturday, October 17.
A symposium titled ‘Kolomentality’ will hold on October 15 among other events to climax the virtual edition of the 2020 Felabration.
