As far as awards received is concerned, Burna Boy was the biggest Nigerian artiste for the year 2019.
However, he will face competition from top African musicians including Teni Entertainer when the 2019 MTV EMA awards hold.
Burna Boy and Teni Entertainer will represent Nigeria in the Best African Act category, but will also compete for who emerges top at the event which holds on Sunday, November 3, at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Andalusia, Spain.
Considered two of the most successful musicians in Nigeria presently, they will compete in the category along with South Africa’s Nasty C, Tanzania’s Harmonize and Togo’s Toofan Prince Kaybee.
The Best African Act category has been mostly won by Nigerian artistes including Davido, and Tiwa Savage.
