2016 ‘Unusual Praise’ Holds
The interdenominational concert tagged “Unusual Praise” has definitely come to stay.
This year’s edition of the concert, which is the 5th season, held on Saturday December 10, and climaxed with a Holy Mass.
The concert which is the brainchild of Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki (CCDM), featured top gospel artistes such as Ron Kenolly, Lara George, Obiwon and Lynxxx. Other artistes who took part in the event are Gloria, Chi Kam Ji, and Steve Crown.
2016 Unusual Praise, which held at the CCDM grounds was themed, “Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The Lord.”
Speaking during the unveiling of the 2016 concert, at the Australian Room, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Friday, December 9, the Monsignor of the CCDM, revealed that the concert was tagged “Unusual Praise” because of the hours used in praising God.
Further, he said that the idea behind the concert was to preach Christian unity via gospel music. His words, “God will answer prayers and proffer solutions to problems and needs. He will direct Nigeria’s leaders on the divine direction to follow in 2017. If we can bring everyone together it is to say that we have a relationship with God, the Monsignor said.
