Toyin Kolade, Muiz Banire For Opra Awards

Former Commissioner for the Environment in Lagos State, Dr. Muiz Adeyemi Banire, and the CEO of Fisolak Global Resources, Princess (Dr.) Toyin Kolade, are among achievers listed to be honoured at the second edition of Outstanding Personalities Recognition Awards (OPRA) billed to hold on Saturday, September, 13.

 

Aside the duo, others also on the list of this year’s event tagged OPRA 2014, are personalities that have brought laurels through services that help in the betterment of the society.

 

They include the CEO of Al-Fattah Media Concept; CEO of Olugbode Fabrics, Alhaja Sherifat Olugbode; Chairman of Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government, Lagos, Alhaji Fatai Ajidagba and many others.

Alhaji Bolaji Bello, Chief Executive Officer of Bolergy Productions, who is the chief organizer of the annual awards event, said that the aim of the awards is to recognize performance and excellence in recipients who have served impressively toward the development of Nigeria’s economy and the society in general.

 

The awards event is slated to hold at NECA Hall, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, with Fuji music star and a member of the OPRA Board, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, on the bandstand.

 

“Those we celebrate every year are people and organizations that we consider magician performers in their various fields of endeavour, those who have contributed and still contributing immensely to the development of the society, economy and human race. Our focus are the different sectors of the larger society, from the entertainment industry, politics, society, media, religious and the corporate world”, stated Bolaji Bello.
