Occasionally, northern Nigeria witnesses a mother of all nuptial that attracts the ‘who-is-who’ in social circle.
Months back, it was the colourful wedding of Yusuf Buhari and Zahra Bayero, daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Kano State that was the talk of the town, as the duo were celebrated by almost all of the people in northern Nigeria.
However, the wedding which is currently the talk of the town is that between Zara Bala, daughter of Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, and her man, Marla Sheriff.
The nuptial, which had been quietly celebrated some months back took a different form on Tuesday, December 21, when the couple hosted choice guests to a colourful reception dinner.
Typically, the colourful dinner was attended by notable individuals in Nigeria including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Nyesom Wike, Yusuf Buhari, and his wife Zahra amongst many others.
Guests who attended the dinner were given a royal treatment with some of the best meals and drinks made available by the organisers of the event.
For the beautiful bride, there was no hiding her joy as she brimmed with smiles trough out the tasteful dinner.
