Falz, has described as disguting a statement by Senator Elisha Abbo that young people around the world aspiring for political office were learning from him.
Falz made the statement following the presentation of the “Icon of Democracy Award” to Senator Abbo last week.
The award was presented to the Senator by Intercommunity Awareness for Change and Development Initiative in Abuja.
Reacting to the award, Falz criticised the lawmaker in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 31. He wrote:
“What kind of a joke is this man ?!,” Falz said alongside a video of the senator making the statement.
“‘Icon of democracy’ award? 
Shamelessness at the highest level. It’s actually disgusting. He should be holding a plaque that says ‘Biggest disgrace of the year,” the 28-year-old said.
Falz went further to call the Senate and the police to move against the lawmaker, adding that “this man cannot remain in the senate!!”
Recall that Abbo was captured assulting a nursing mother in a viral video early July. The assault took place in an Abuja sex shop.
