Why Oba Riliwanu Akiolu shelved 70th Birthday Party for Folashade Tinubu-Ojo's Coronation

A lot of people are still at a loss as to why the Oba of Lagos State, Oba Riliwanu Akiolu decided to shelve his 70th birthday party and 10 years on the stool anniversary celebration party.
According to information available to www.theoctopusnews.com, though the traditional ruler had wanted a big celebration party, the fact that his birthday coincided with the coronation date picked for the installation of the new Iyaloja only meant one of the two events would be sacrificed for the other.
Hence, the leader of tradition in Lagos state deciding to postponed his event.
Some of the guests at the installation of Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, as the new Iyaoloja include names such as Mr Oyetunji Ojo, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Alake of Egba Land, Oba Michael Adedotun Gbadebo, Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Lai Mohammed, Otunba Henry Ajomale and Kemi Nelson.
The party later moved from the palace of Akiolu to Haven Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos where a palatial reception party held for Folashade, the new helms woman of Nigerian market.
