Several months after dropping his last album, Fuji Czar Wasiu Ayinde Marshal has revealed why he featured hip hop act Olamide in the work.
K1, who featured Olamide in the track titled State of the Nation, revealed it was aimed at waking up sleeping Nigerians because there is a very serious job at hand.
Furthermore, he said “the message in the track is to make sure the country does not fall apart because what we are witnessing now calls for caution and for everybody to salvage the situation.”
K1 revealed that although he has worked with great artistes in the past including Blacky and 9ice, the choice of Olamide is due to his dexterity, his seriousness, his bright future and because he foresees him ascending the mantle of entertainment.
The Fuji Czar concluded by saying “I picked Olamide because I am so proud of him.”
