Very few Nigerians don’t have MultiChoice’s Digital Satellite Television popular as DSTV in their homes.
However, one Nigerian celebrity who has confirmed that he doesn’t have the DSTV in his house is popular actor, movie Producer and Director Kunle Afolayan.
Speaking during an interview, Afolayan revealed that the reason why he does not have a DSTV is simply because he doesn’t watch football.
According to him, “the average Nigerian guy wants to buy DSTV because he wants to watch football. I don’t watch football, I buy movies, I watch movies, read books and attend to family issues,” he stated.
This is coming at a period when DSTV is been heavily criticized for its exploitation of its Nigerian consumers with exorbitant rates.
