Why I Diversified Into Agribusiness-2Baba

One of Nigeria’s leading musicians, 2Baba, has announced his diversification into the Agricultural sector.

2Baba, who is known for his numerous hit songs recently unveiled Innobia Allied Limited, an agro-allied business said to have headquarters in Nigeria and branches in Israel and the United Kingdom.

Speaking about the initiative, 2Baba stated that it was birthed out of the desire to key into the government policy of diversification of the economy through agriculture and related businesses.

“We want to create jobs for our youths and empower our women in order to break the chain of poverty and contribute meaningfully to the economy. Our target is to empower a minimum of 1,000 youths in each of the 36 States and the FCT by the year 2021.

“On behalf of the board and management of Innobia, I seek to achieve the ultimate objective of addressing the issues of food sufficiency and job creation for our people,” 2Baba said.

The musician also revealed that he is working in partnership with seasoned local and international individuals on the initiative which kicked-off months ago in Benue State with the aim of producing rice and soya beans.
