In his days as the Director-General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dakuku Peterside was one of the most influential men from Southern Nigeria.
Then, the air around him was almost equal to that of the president of a country; he was simply assumed to be a god of a sort.
He was courted by many who needed his assistance, as they worshipped the ground on which he walked on all in a bid to get his attention.
But all of that was months ago, as he has simply fizzled out of circulation since concluding his tenure as the NIMASA boss.
These days, not much is heard about the man who was almost seen as a demi-god during his days as boss of NIMASA. It appears that the power broker has gone on hibernation.
