One thing which a lot of lovers of good music have accused 2face Idibia of for some time now is his riding on the glory of his old songs.
The singer has continually failed to re-enact his quality days which saw him release albums such as “Grass 2 Grace”, “The Unstoppable” and “Face 2 Face.”
This lack of a stellar album has been described by his fans in some quarters as what has seen him organise an album listening party for his sixth album titled “The Ascension”.
The album listening party which held on Saturday, June 14, took place at Ariz Bar and was dominated by popular music faces such as Kenny Ogungbe, Dotun, DJ Jimmy Jatt and Kwame of Nigezie.
Talk is that the music specialists were invited to have fun, but more importantly sample some of the songs which will eventually make the album.
This is to ensure that when 2face’s sixth album eventually drops, it will take his career out of the doldrums of old glory.
