The job of Prof. Charles Quaker Dokubo as Special Adviser and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme has not been an easy one.
Since his appointment in March 2018, there have been posers about his person and office.
The man’s ability to effectively and transparently manage and coordinate the programme has been severally questioned with a group tagged Concerned Niger Deltans for Sustainable Development (CNDSD), even calling for his removal.
This is despite claims that he deplored over 1800 delegates to 145 institutions across the globe for various educational programmes, and another 200 students across 66 institutions in 20 countries.
Presently, a campaign to polish the image of Dokubo’s appears to be on.
Coming at a time when President Muhammadu Buhari is said to be set to dissolve his cabinet and constitute another, many are wondering what could have inspired this campaign.
