The Lagos State Police Command has revealed that it is investigating Clarence Peters for the murder of video vixen, Love Divine.
Recall that Love Divine died in the Omole home of the video director on Wednesday, April 30, while purportedly trying to charge her phone during a video shoot.
Reacting to the likelihood of Clarence Peter’s being charged to court, Bala Elkana, spokesperson of the state police command who confirmed that the video director and others in his house when the incident happened had been invited for questioning said that the police was investigating the case as murder.
Elkana said: ”We are investigating the circumstances that led to her death so definitely there are questions investigators will need to find out and he is one of those that need to answer some of those questions; that is why he has been invited and some few others who were there.
He also stated that the investigation was full-fledged, adding: “It is a murder charge. We are probably looking at murder. We are not concluding at this stage. If she died of electrocution according to reports, it is left for us to find out. Was she actually electrocuted? What went wrong? Autopsy will also show.”
