Several Nigerian musicians are presently on tour of one country or the other, while many others are also getting ready to start theirs.
From Mr. Eazi to Davido, the list of artistes on tour is increasing daily.
Mr. Eazi’s ‘Detty World Tour’ has seen him visiting North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
The tour kicked off on Saturday, February 18, and since then Mr. Eazi has performed in America and Canada, promoting his album titled ‘Life Is Eazi: Accra To Lagos’.
The next phase of the tour was in Europe. It kicked off on Friday, May 5 and climaxed on Thursday, June 1. The United Kingdom and Ireland version held between Friday, June 2 and Saturday, July 1.
Returning home, the African phase of his tour began on Wednesday, July 5 and will climax on Tuesday, August 1. Mr. Eazi’s tour train recently stopped at New African Shrine, Lagos, where he thrilled his fans performing alongside acts such as Small Doctor, YQ, Niniola, Mayorkun, DJ Spinall and others.
Another person who is also on tour is Davido.
On Saturday, June 10, Davido unveiled his 14 cities ‘30 Billion’ tour on social media.
The ‘30 Billion’ tour which will see him entertaining his fans in Washington DC, Portland and Oregon kicked off on Saturday, July 22 in New York.
Davido will perform at Boston, Washington DC on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29 respectively. He will also be in Dallas on Saturday, August 12, and Houston on Tuesday, August 18. The tour, which is packaged by Duke Concept LLC, ends in Portland, Oregon on Sunday, September 3rd.
Baseline Afro-Soul singer, Aramide, is also planning a tour of America.
Typically, the tour will be to promote her album, ‘Suitcase’.
Since the album dropped, it has elevated the singer to another level, with awards to show for her hard work.
The Oyo state born guitarist and saxophonist recently dropped the video of her song titled ‘Bose’. Asides promoting her last album, fans would also look forward to seeing her perform live on stage.
