Top politicians in northern Nigeria gathered in Kano State on Saturday, May 22, for the wedding fathia of Rahman Malami, one of the sons of the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
The younger Malami got married to his fiancee, Aisha Humairah Ibrahim Umar.
The wedding fatiha took place at the Al-Furqan mosque, Alu Avenue, Kano.
In attendance were Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal who presented N250,000 cash as dowry for the bride.
Also in attendànce were the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege along with Governors of Gombe, Kebbi and Zamfara States.
Also in attendance were the Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF), Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu, Sen. Magnus Ngei Abbe, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, former governor of Borno Atate and many others.
Presiding over the solemnization, Dr Bashir Umar, the Imam of Al-Furqan mosque, prayed for the couple wishing them conjugal bliss just as he also prayed for peace and harmony in the country.
