Bayo Onanuga, the media aide to president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has berated Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the last election, Peter Obi for referring to Pa Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of Afenifere as ‘Daddy’.
Obi had taken to social media to celebrate Pa Adebanjo on his 95th birthday on Monday, April 10.
In his congratulatory message, Obi referred to Pa Adebanjo as ‘’Daddy.”
Recall that Obi trended a few weeks ago when a purported telephone conversation of him and the senior pastor of Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo went viral. Obi was mocked on social media for referring to the clergyman as ‘’Daddy”. He however denied the accusations.
Reacting to Obi’s congratulatory message, Onanuga wrote
‘’Peter Obi can’t just stop saying ‘Daddy’. Is it a curse?”
