Banners announcing the 2023 presidential ambition of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), have surfaced in Lagos State.
The banners were spotted in strategic locations of Lagos State including Awolowo Way and around Osborne Foreshore extension.
The photos had Asiwaju Tinubu posing in different styles, with the former governor of Lagos State stylishly holding on to his suit in one of the photos.
Tinubu’s 2023 presidential ambition continues to gather momentum despite the fact that he is yet to directly identify with it.
Though Tinubu is yet to confirm he will contest the election, he has been holding strategic meetings with top politicians and stakeholders in the APC.
Tinubu 2023 has also been seriously promoted by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Foundation (BAT), a group that has been embarking on humanitarian services in both Lagos and other northern states on behalf of Tinubu.
The foundation’s Director-General, Hon. Ipoola Omisore, who spoke about the foundation’s work recently said that it is poised to reduce hunger as much as possible.
Omisore was quoted as saying “the donation of the food items is a gesture to show that the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is much concerned about the well-being of all Nigerians, wherever they may be living.
“The Foundation is an advocate of peace. It is founded purposely to cater for the people especially the less privileged ones in our society.
“It stands for what Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is, a lover of peace and advocate of poverty-free society. The gesture should be seen as a reflection of his passion to make sure everybody in the country are free of hunger.”
