That Smirk On Emeka Offor’s Face
Known as a billionaire businessman with an avalanche of resources at his disposal, many would never tag Sir Emeka Offor a debtor.
This is however what has happened. Sir, Emeka Offor who got married in a royalty-like wedding to 28 years-old barrister, Adaora Ofondu in Nnewi Anambra State last year was surprisingly listed as one of the many bank debtors who have refused to pay up their loan.
According to the list made available by Nigerian Deposit Money Banks, Global ScanSystem Limited owned by Offor owes Diamond Bank N181m.
For many, the situation is an embarrassment to the businessman whose image has been painted to be larger than life.
A lot of people also believe that wherever Offor is, he would be wearing a smirk of embarrassment on his face.
