The Ogun State House of Assembly Mace has been recovered by the police.
Recall that it was stolen by hoodlums on Thursday, December 10. Hoodlums broke into the state’s House of Assembly and carted away the mace.
The thugs burgled the office of the Speaker of the Assembly where the mace was kept.
The mace was recovered in Lagos by the police on Friday, December 11, at about 8.30am. The Lagos State Police Command in a statement said that the mace was recovered around the Abule Ado area of Lagos.
