The Anambra State police command has reacted to claims of possibly arresting the wife of former Governor of Anambra State, Ebelechukwu Obiano; and widow of the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Bianca.
The duo are currently trending following their fight at the swearing-in ceremony of Charles Soludo as Governor of Anambra State on Thursday, March 17.
The Police Command noted that it saw no need to arrest the two women for breach of public peace, as the event went on after security personnel de-escalated the tension.
However, the command stated that if there’s any need to interface between the two, they will do so.
Read the police’s statement;
“Because of the intervention of security personnel, the quarrel between the two personalities didn’t escalate. Meanwhile, the event continued without any further problems and if there is any need to interface between the two, the Police Command will do so.”
