Talk of a humble artiste who has risen from rags to riches and the name which readily comes to mind is Solid Star.
Years back, as an unpaid artiste, the Achivas Entertainment act travelled to Edo State and performed in what was then one of the biggest events of the year. His performance then was fantastic and many wondered how he could give such a display for free. That show exemplified the humility of the artiste.
Today, a star by some standard, Solid Star is becoming more loquacious calling out the organizers of Nigerian Entertainment Award (NEA) and tagging the award and its contemporary’s commercial.
Solid Star who has worked with some of Nigeria’s biggest artistes including Timaya, Tiwa Savage, Flavour among others took to his twitter handle to slam organizer of NEA saying they nominate top music artiste for their award and declare the highest bidder winner.
