A soldier attached to a Chinese construction company in Umuahia, Abia State, has stabbed a 34-year-old man.
The private soldier, Saeed Sabo of the 82 division of Nigerian Army Enugu was said to have stabbed Uchenna, a native of Olokoro Umuahia in Umuahia South Abia State on the right hand of his chest, below his breast.

According to reports, there was an altercation between the duo at about 10: am on Saturday around Umuahia railway station.
The victim was immediately rushed to the Federal Medical Centre Umuahia for treatment where he was certified dead.
Private Sabo has since been handed over to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution, while the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.
