For some people, socialite, Isiaka Mogaji popularly known as Gaji, is an important personality while for others his prominence can only be ascribed to his nuisance value.
That he is a big fan of fuji musician, K1, has seen him attracting many fans, both in the music industry and social circles.
That said, top socialites in the city of London and across the globe are currently gearing up for the man’s 60th birthday party tagged Gaji at 60.
www.theoctopusnews.com learnt that the exclusive bash, which is being put together by friends, will see different shades of socialites, businessmen, party birds and artistes that will perform at the event flying in from across the globe to pay homage to the man who considers Wasiu Ayinde Anifowose (K1) his mentor.
We learnt that the event will start on Wednesday, November 20, with a Fidau prayer for the celebrant’s deceased parents while the following day, Thursday, November 21, a Table Tennis competition will hold at Planet Nollywood Night Club, located at 319, Camberwell Road, London.
On Friday, November 22, guests will attend another thanksgiving and fidau prayer for the parents of the celebrant at Sawi Mosque, Homiside Road, off Old Kent Road, London. The events will be capped with a colourful party on Saturday, November 23.
Sources close to we revealed that the soiree would be chaired by musicians, Sir Shina Peters (SSP), and K1, who Gaji calls his mentor, though he is older.
Guests expected at the event include Alhaji Buari Oloto, Mrs. Banke Yussuf, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Taiwo Afolabi, Bola Atobatele, Allahu Lateef Ade-Balogun, Rasak Akanni Olanrewaju and Alister Soyede.
Others are Rotimi Ajanaku, Jide Oni, Wole Amode, Jide Agbalaya, Joko Ajadi Savage, Princess Ramota Oseni Adeyeri, Oloruntoyin Igbira, Sherifat Olugbode, Ademola Oyefeso and Monsuru Owolabi.
