Singer and songwriter, Harrysong, has confirmed he was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday, October 11.
According to him, he was arrested over his face-off with music executive, Soso Soberekon.
The ‘Samankwe’ singer was arrested at the airport by the police after arriving Nigeria.
In a post signed Management and shared on his Instagram page, Harrysong said his phones were seized and that the police officers are not letting him communicate with his people.
Trouble started following an interview in which Harrysong called Soberekon his enemy, adding that he sent people to kill him in Port Harcourt.
After asking for an apology in a letter, the music executive petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on grounds of defamation and threat to life by Harrysong.
Harrysong was subsequently questioned over the matter after his arrest with an investigation said to have commenced on the allegation.
