Rotimi  Ajanaku throws lavish party for child’s dedication

Urbane businessman  and politician, Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku made sure he registered a statement in the minds of people last Sunday the 27th of October 2013 that it’s no joke to be grouped amongst the premiere league occupants in the social firmament when he threw a lavish ceremony for his son  Oluwaferanmi’s dedication.

The party which had all the trappings of an A- class event took place at his Fola Osibo Lekki Scheme 1 residence.

Those who attended attested to the fact that Rotimi who is fondly referred to as Don Dino spared no cost in making sure he met the pre event rating.

Ostentation was said to be on display as expensive champagne like Ace of Spade, Dom Perignon  and spirit like XO colored the already colorful gathering. The caterer also provided a seven course meal that made sure guest had the best of time.

Guests had a feel of what has kept singer Yinka Ayefele on top of his game; also Biyi Samuel added his style to the highly impressed crowd.
The attendance was well represented as notable names filled the expansive space; those who attended included Bolaji Thomas Jaji, Dare Santana, Olashehu Abana, Bolaji Esho, Dotun Rumours, Wale Bite and others.

The movie world was also represented with arrays of stars that stormed the party.

The Reformed Ogboni Fraternity (ROF), the  fraternal institution was founded in 1914.

ROF was founded by a Christian, Deacon Jacobson Ogunbiyi.

Deacon Jacobson Ogunbiyi founded the fraternity with the initial objective of promoting Christian values among the people.

The group was expanded to accommodate people of other faiths hence the change in name from Ogboni Fraternity to Reformed Ogboni Fraternity

Fouding fathers of ROF were part of those who fought for the decolonisation of Nigeria, and they developed such establishments as the civil service, judiciary and many functional post-colonial institutions.
