Since he returned to the music industry after a long period of absence, Majek Fashek has hardly been celebrated.
Although he dropped singles and eventually an album, the music industry simply refused to accept his comeback.
His effort to celebrate himself via a concert put together by his label and manager failed to yield results, as it was only attended by some friends and well-wishers.
The ‘rainmaker’ however got recognised by the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival Bandleaders Association (ACCBA) on behalf of the City of Atlanta recently. He was celebrated for his works and influence in the music industry.
This is indeed a big one for Majek Fashek.
