Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, has revealed that he owns the name “PSquare“.
The “For Your Head” singer stated this in a post on X, after a critic asked him to drop the stage name from his social media handles if he really wants to distance himself from his brother.
The critic had noted that the singer had changed his birthday, but maintained the stage moniker.

Reacting to the criticism, Peter Okoye, who is also popular as Peter PSquare, said that he discovered the name, has earned it, and he would be keeping it.

PSquare, a now-defunct music group, consisted of Peter and Paul Okoye. The group was managed by their elder brother, Jude. However, they fell apart after allegations of stealing and betrayal by his siblings.

He dismissed claims that one of his brothers’ wives advised them to ‘steal’ from him, stating that none of them were married when the alleged stealing started.
Peter and his older brother, Jude Okoye, are currently in court over claims of fund diversion. Peter accused Jude of using another company to divert funds made when he was the manager of PSquare.
