Primeboy’s Lawyer Seeks Court Permission To Invite Mohbad’s Wife

Up-and-coming singer, Primeboy real name Ibrahim Owodunni has sought the leave of a coroner’s court in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State to recall Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi as a witness in the inquest of what led to the death of the “Peace” crooner.
Also expected to reappear as a witness is the IPO in charge of the case, ASP Muhammad Yusuf. The application made by Primeboy’s legal team led by Akinpelu Ogunbona Esq was granted by Magistrate T. A. Sotobi.
Arguing the application on behalf of Primeboy, Ogunbona stated that there were new issues both Wunmi and the police needed to shed light upon to give a clear picture of what killed the singer.
A statement by Ogunbona is quoted to have stated that the duo are required to reappear to make clear some ambiguous statements regarding the fight the singer’s wife alleged happened in the house.
The coroner accordingly adjourned for the order to be complied with and the witnesses to be brought to court on the next adjourned date. Mohbad died at the age of 27, on September 12, 2023, in controversial circumstances.
