Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church has gifted Tade Asifat, a former Editor of Encomium Magazine a car.
The car gift is the second of it’s kind given to a journalist in a week.
Recall that Primate Ayodele had on Wednesday, February 14, gifted another journalist, Wale Lawal a car.
The car gift among other empowerment including cash and equipment were part of the items given out to climax the 2024 edition of Primate Ayodele’s annual weeklong thanksgiving program.
In his reaction to the car gift, Asifat told our correspondent that the gift came as a big surprise because he wasn’t expecting it.
Asifat said, “We spoke for more than 30 minutes some days ago and he never told me anything about a car. This is a big surprise.”
Primate Ayodele is popular for his philanthropy and art of gifting out cars to both his church members and media partners.
In the past five years, the man of God has gifted at least eight cars to journalists, while several of his church members have benefited from his numerous empowerment where they have been given items ranging from mini buses to tricycles, grounding machines amongst other items.
