Police Kills Notorious Cultist, Somori

Men of the Nigeria Police Force have killed a notorious Aiye cult gang leader named Owolabi Oludipe.

Oludipe who is popular as Somori was killed in a gun battle in Odogbolu area of Ogun State on Sunday, January 31.

Ogun Police Command Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed Somori’s death in a statement stated that the notorious gang-leader was killed after the police were alerted by panicking residents.

He said that security operatives swang into action, resulting in a gun battle which led to the death of the deceased.

Further, he added that Somori has been on the watchlist of the police since November 2020 when he and his members killed two members of the rival cult gang Segun Runsewe and Kayode Adegbuyi.

According to him, both Runsewe and Adegbuyi were killed by Somori-led cult ganag during a supremacy battle.
