The Nigeria Police has arrested the nurse who reportedly injected late singer Mohbad leading to his death.
Recall that the singer had reportedly gone to a hospital for the treatment of an unknown ailment, but subsequently collapsed after being injected by a nurse.
He was subsequently declared dead and buried by his parent in Ikorodu, a outskirts town in Lagos State on September 12, 2023 .
However, upon continuous calls for the police to unravel the circumstances that led to his death and several videos of the duo of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, a socialite and show promoter allegedly assaulting the late singer surfacing on the internet, the law enforcement officers swung into action.
In a latest report by actress, Iyabo Ojo, she revealed that the nurse who injected the late singer had been arrested.
According to the actress who spoke in a video message shared via her Instagram page on Wednesday night while briefing fans about her visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, the police is making progress on the investigation of Mohbad’s death.
She said other arrests have also been made by the police.
Ojo said, “The police have made some arrests in connection with Mohbad’s death. The nurse has been arrested. That I know. That’s the only information I can give you right now.
“They have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.”
Meanwhile, the late singer’s father, James Aloba had earlier been quoted in an interview saying that he suspects the auxiliary nurse who injected Mohbad before he died, stressing that the injection might have complicated his son’s health.
