The Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has gotten married to his sixth wife, Olori Temitope Asake Morenike Ogunwusi.
Olori Ogunwusi, is an Ijebu Princess from Ago-Iwoye, in Ogun State. She is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hopes Alive Initiatives (HAI).
The traditional ceremony took place today, Monday, October 24, in Magodo Phase 2, in Lagos at about 2pm.
The bride is the daughter of Prince Adebayo Johnson Adesegun of Adesegun Ibipe Royal Dynasty of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North Local Government of Ogun State.
Present at the event were Ooni’s biological father Prince Oluropo Ogunwusi who recieved the bride in company of his wife, Olori Margret Ogunwusi.
Siblings of the Ooni, and other members of the Ogunwusi royal family were also in attendance.
Also present at the event were Ife chiefs including Sarun Oodua, Chief Oyeyemi Oriowo and Director of Media /Public Affairs, Otunba Moses Olafare, the former Governor of Gombe, Dr. Ibrahim Dankwambo, the Managing Director of FERMA Alhaji Abdurrahman Rafindadi, Director General of Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, Chief Folly Folarin Coker, Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema represented by his daughter Nnenna Onyema, and All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, Hon. Sola Lawal.
Others in attendance include HRM Oba Adekunle Adebowale Agbolu of Agbaje-Ife, HRM Oba Olaigbade Obateru, the Olu of Temidire Wagadi Ife,
HRM, Oba Jimoh Ajayi Abiodun, the Ologudu of Ogudu-Ife.
