2023 Election: Peter Obi Wins Edo State

The result released by the collation officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Edo State, Prof. Nyaudoh Ndaeyo, has indicated that Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate has won the state.

Obi won the state in the presidential election conducted on Saturday, February 25.

According to results announced by Prof. Ndaeyo, Obi secured a total of 331,163 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 144,471 and 89,585 votes respectively.
